What we do
The IUAV University of Venice has elaborated Sustainable Tourism Mobility Scenarios for each partner’s tourist area in order to help policy makers and stakeholders taking decisions regarding future transport planning. Scenarios predict future tourism growth and growth of tourism flows in tourist areas, modal share and emissions from transport, particularly tourism.

DOCUMENTS ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM MOBILITY
Policy documents on sustainable tourism mobility have been elaborated dealing with transport in tourist conurbations. Most partners have prepared sustainable tourism plans or recommendations for future transport planning.
The plan of the Municipality of Misano Adriatico has been integrated into its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP). For further information please refer to http://www.ftpmisano.it/UDP/PUMS/P.U.M.S.pdf.
The Rimini Strategic Plan Agency has prepared a Sustainable Tourism Mobility document to reinforce the SUMP of the Municipality. The City Administration has examined the document which will be taken into consideration in the phase of SUMP approval. Regional Development Centre Koper has elaborated a plan of tourist traffic flows monitoring in the region. The plan is a supplement to measures identified in the four adopted SUMPs in the region. The City of Dubrovnik has prepared s sustainable tourism mobility document with guidelines for Dubrovnik to become a more “green” city. The Platres Community council decided to elaborate a Signing System Study for its area in order to uniform the signs referring to sites and buildings. A study of bicycle traffic and infrastructure analysis for the city of Zadar has been developed. For more details please see the Deliverables Library in the section What we achieve – D.3.4.1: Zadar bicycle traffic study.
ENERGIES 2050 has decided to improve the existing SUMP and STM with a specific focus on development of e-biking in the zone Biot-Antibes-Villeneuve Loubet (https://energies2050.org/guide-pour-agir-7-strategies-pour-une-mobilite-durable-et-bas-carbone-dans-les-zones-touristiques-mediterraneennes/).
The Municipality of Piraeus has elaborated a policy document on sustainable tourism mobility with the purpose of analysing complementary soft-actions on Tourism and Mobility. APPs offering information about available public transport means at destination areas, bike routes and other tourist information have been prepared or upgraded for the areas of French Riviera (Nice), Zadar in Croatia, Piraeus in Greece, Platres village in Cyprus and Malta. Databases of traffic flows analysis and other traffic data have been made for several project areas.

ELECTRICAL AND SHARING MOBILITY SOLUTIONS
French and Italian partner have bought bikes to promote cycling and to renovate the bike-sharing system in Misano Adriatico. In Platres village three new bus stops have been installed for the purpose of a new bus line which was introduced in 2018 to connect the coastal area of Limassol with the hinterland. The Cypriot partner has also set a new signing system along the area.
SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY HANDBOOK
Sustainable Mobility Handbook is the most important outcome of the project. It valorizes the sustainable mobility projects implemented in MED area. It presents the results of all projects included in GO-SUMP network.
